Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Audrey Tellez.

I created Millions of Wonderful Things to not only help social justice-oriented organizations get the funding they deserve so communities can flourish, but to shine a light on social change leaders, and acknowledge the immensity that they bring to this world.  As our beloved Mr. Rogers once said, "The media shows the tiniest percentage of what people do. There are millions and millions of people doing wonderful things all over the world.ā€  At Millions of Wonderful Things, we are here to be a beacon that shines on you and supports you in accomplishing your goals. It is well past due for you to be acknowledged, supported, and funded. Thank you for all the good that you do, and above all else, all the good that you are.

Our Approach

We take the utmost care that our grant writing centers your voice and perspective. We work closely with our partners to make sure that each and every grant and proposal put forth is of the highest quality, meeting all requirements, but more so, that it serves as a beautiful narrative of your story, told exactly the way you want it to be told. We are creatives that have a deep appreciation for humanity remaining core to creating, writing, and storytelling. For this reason, in addition to many others regarding the health and safety of communities and the environment, we do not use AI in any of our writing. We utilize AI only when absolutely necessary and when not doing so would put our partners at a disadvantage, such as in reviewing lengthy requests for proposals (RFPs) to cross-check that we are meeting all of the requirements. We also utilize AI occasionally to do a mock score of our proposal. When using AI, we utilize Claude.

We take pride in partnering with other creatives, from the design of our logo and website (credit: Sarah Hutcherson), the images showcased on our website (credit: Diane Labombarbe, ZZVE, Olga Strelnikova), our business naming (credit: Betsy Brands), and headshots (credit: LifeCameraSoul Photography).
